Um
owl results came.
QUICK EVERYBODY, what's a nice adjective that starts with P??? Already I thought up "darn good" for D because "delicious" and "dreamy" don't make sense. I was going use "dingen" but Hogwarts is in Scotland, not here, and I don't think it'd work right. I really need help with P though please.
It doesn't really MATTER because I don't need owls or newts to run a pub but my da gets angry if our marks aren't up. |

Oh noooooo
I'm after seeing Siobhan (she's Murphy's one who works at the bookstore two blocks over and if she isn't the prettiest girl I've seen all summer then I don't know what) on my way home today but I TOTALLY looked like a drowned rat on drugs
It was really embarrassing :( She's very nice, but what do you say to a drowned rat on drugs? WHAT?? If I was talking to a drowned rat on drugs I think I'd be very awkward. AND IT WAS. Especially because she even had an umbrella and I didn't (which is why I looked so drowned), and you can't have a face-to-face conversation under an umbrella. She sort of tried to offer it to me but I was already wet and I could tell she didn't really want to look drowned, too, and I didn't want her to either. Then we'd both look drowned, though at least she'd still look sober. Just soaked.
It's really stupid, my eyes are fine and I DO NOT NEED checkups every year just because Da and Murphy have glasses. |

NICODEMUS IS AFTER INVITING ME TO VISIT HIM IN CAMBRIDGE!! Isn't that so nice of him! I'm so excited. I don't yet know when I'm going but HOW NICE! I keep inviting him here but he either says 'maybe' which means no, or he says he will but never talks about it later. He might actually be trying to be my friend again this time!! I really miss him, he was so nice in first year and then during second year he totally stopped talking to me and it sucks.
He talks to that Ravenclaw girl a lot though. :( But not me?
Ummmm are any of you guys actually going to Pottery Day or whichever (besides you, James, obviously you're going)? If you're going I'll hang out with you, but otherwise, like, it doesn't really matter? |

My whole family is seriously weirded out by all this snow stuff! But we played in the snow anyway, sure. My brothers and cousins and me went down to the beach and had a snowball fight, but sand was in the snow of course so it was kind of mad. It was pretty fun, though! Not like any of us went to the snowball fight dressed in clothes that couldn't get wet or dirty. And the beach in the snow is pretty wicked cool to look at! The tourists are kind of pissed but apparently it's snowing all over Britain so it's not like they'd be any better off at home, at least the British ones, anyway.
So what could it be, do you think, if it isn't global warming how they're saying on the telly? Is it magic snow? I don't see how else it could really be snowing in July, especially when it was so warm a few days ago, but then why would anyone make it snow?? Maybe someone was doing a project and totally bodged him up. If that's so then hopefully someone catches them because if you think about it it's not really that great. There are a lot of farmers around here and they're really worried, which totally makes sense! You plant in the spring and assume that it isn't going to freeze over once the summer hits. Because it never does. |

NOT THINKING ABOUT EXAMS
I'm not. I amn't. EXAMS ARE OVER AND I'M GOING HOME. And it's MY BIRTHDAY that's in THREE DAYS so any of you who can visit me had BETTER visit me.
I'm not getting a summer job because I'm working in the pub, sure. I think coming home is a great Father's Day present especially since I didn't have the time get him anything because we're at SCHOOL and taking exams. I hope he wouldn't mind.
Gryffindor, we did really badly this year. Why. |
